iConcertCal

Last night, I discovered that Andrew Bird was playing in London, mostly by accident. If you don't know Andrew Bird, he's a genius. Seriously. Check out this video if you don't believe me.

Anyway, it struck me on the way to work this morning that most of the information about what bands I like is actually in iTunes. So there ought to be some kind of plug-in to search my iTunes library and match that with gig listings.

Well, guess what. There is. :) iConcertCal is pure genius too. It shows upcoming shows as well as new CD releases. I immediately found a few gigs I'd like to go to this month, time permitting, and a few CDs I'd like to buy. The website says that iCal export isn't working under Leopard, but I'm sure this will be fixed soon.
