I'm so glad we don't have more of these

On my old blog, I had an article called "Oh how we love to hate Plone", which I've also replicated here. This morning, I got an email from Wordpress about a new comment - a particularly elegant piece of prose from a helpful soul that identified himself only as plonesucks. It went like this:

imagine a syphalitic, pus-filled boil on one of anna kournikova's deliciously smooth and beautiful asscheeks. That is what plone is to zope.

Lovely. I think that we sometimes forget how lucky we are in the Plone community to be almost entirely free of such childish and counter-productive noise. Almost everyone on the Plone mailing lists and chat room behave themselves in a professional, mature and constructive manner. It's not quite like that everywhere else on the Internet!
